The Secret Weapon in the War on Terrorism: Priestesses!
“While nothing justifies terrorism…”: So begins an article in Center Focus (Dec. 2001), published by the Center of Concern in Washington, D.C. Just reading those four words, you pretty much know what’s coming. And so the author finishes that sentence with: “recent events present an opportunity for reflecting on the context in which these acts of terrorism have taken place.” The terrorism of 9-11, you see, had causes, and we must get at the root of the problem.
So, what’s the problem? Muslim grievances against Israel and Israel’s primary ally, America? No.
Islam itself? No.
The problem is corporate irresponsibility, free trade, the policies of international financial institutions, and especially the violation of women’s rights. Ah, you didn’t know that, did you?
